Next we’ll be joined by photographer Charlie Engman to discuss his two books Hello Chaos: A Love Story and Cursed (both published this year by MACK books / SPBH Editions). In between we’ll gossip with Leigha Mason about one of our all-time favorites, Stanley Kubrick’s unlikely holiday masterpiece Eyes Wide Shut (1999)!

The great Lorraine O’Grady has died. She was a friend and essential interlocutor over the past decade. I would like to share an interview we did for the Brooklyn Rail in 2016 (which was included in her collected writing if you have it handy). You can also listen to the episode of David Zwirner’s Dialogues podcast we did in 2021. It’s so nice to be able to still hear her voice…
